Wednesday Morning Worlds (Working Man's edition) kicked off this morning-- 6:30am at Amante in North Boulder. We rolled over to the Elks Lodge and did two sessions, 5 laps then 4 laps with 7-10 minutes in between. There was a bit of everthing for the first week- log barriers, steps, gravel and water ditch crossings and porta-barriers.
It felt good. There are definitely some cobwebs to be cleaned up in form, equipment and fitness but starting this training phase three weeks before the first race is going to show itself very soon.
Game on.

Hotter than Hades
My SSWC 2009 official rig. It's a Surly 1x1 with a Karate Monkey fork allowing me to run it as a 69'er. I might change out the tires to run a WTB set-up but can't decide on the right tires (Mutano and a Prowler or Wierwolf 29er?). I took it out for about two hours to begin dialing it in for the SSWC in Durango. It's a bit hard to get used to having raced Bionicon Golden Willow 6" full suspension bike all summer.

Racing fuel x2
I only know of one Dunkin' Donuts in Colorado so everytime I'm in
Colorado Springs I stop. It is a good thing I don't find myself there
too often though. That's not good for racing.
